First, this market is so overwhelming - you certainly have a hard time picking a treat - but stopping at Cinnamon Works is an easy decision for anybody with options for everyone.  These giant, perfectly baked cookies provide the best treat for you.  There are gluten free and sugar free options and in every grandma flavor that you might want.

I got oatmeal coconut chocolate chip and I didn't want to stop.  The hardest choice was not to buy them all.  I'm glad I don't live here.  Tooooo tempting!!

I am sad to write this review because I really wanted to love this place (I LOVE cinnamon!!!).

I've had their cinnamon roll twice now and I was underwhelmed both times. The first time was a few years ago, second time was last week. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe I just got a day old cinnamon roll the first time, that wasn't the case.

The problem for me is that their cinnamon roll is dry and somewhat flaky but not buttery or cinnamony (sp? if that's even a word). I personally love a soft and buttery dough with lots of cinnamon butter in between. If you're like me, you may want to pass on getting a cinnamon roll from here.

Also, we had a brownie the previous time and we didn't like that either.

I was really disappointed with the cookie I purchased from this place. The crowd of people around the stand seem promising, but when I bit into my chocolate chip cookie there was an unknown flavor in the dough that was really offputting. Maybe it was the vanilla, maybe the butter had gone bad, or maybe it was an unknown spice that did not sit right on my tongue. And the consistency of the cookie was very hard, not something great to grab on the go, definitely in need of a glass of milk. Perhaps you'll have Better luck than me. They do have a fun option of creating your own cookie if you have the time.

I was in Seattle for the weekend and read about Cinnamon works when googling gluten-free bakeries in the area to try.  When exploring pike's market I wanted to make sure and find Cinnamon Works - it was so conveniently locked at the corner of pike and pine that I went back daily while there. My favorite was the monster cookie - it was huge but also full of flavors mixed in.  The cinnamon roll was also gooey goodness.

My favorite place for cookies! Not only are they gigantic but they are delicious! They offer something for everyone! Whether you are gluten free, vegan or sugar free, you will find something here for the whole family!
This is a location that even us locals trek to the market for! Can't leave until we stop by Cinnamon Works!
